After what seems like an eternity Llanelli Beach Bootcamp is now back on the sands of Machynys Bay. During the lockdown months many members kept busy with classes every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday via Zoom as well as doing their sprints classes on their own or bubbles. However there’s nothing like working out as a group in the fresh air and it’s safe to say we’re all happy to be back.
The return to the beach has also seen the start of our first 60 Day Challenge of 2021. For 60 days a number of members – old and new – are dedicating their time and energy to eating well, improving fitness and making lifestyle changes. The challenge as always started off with a fitness test comprising burpees, squats, sit-ups, press-ups and a 400m run. Some challengers have also experienced their first time flipping tyres and sprinting.
